YOUR COMPANY IN PICTURES
Presenting your company, art or organisation in telling photographs
Whether you are an artist or a company manager, the visual material you choose in order to present your work and services is crucial to how you are perceived in public.
Yes, emotional pictures play a great role. So do content and transparency. At the very best you photographs tell a story, thus triggering the customer’s curiosity and desire to learn more about you, about what you have to offer and why the customer should choose you over your competitors.
Transporting a feeling of welcome, joy, anticipation, freedom or even surprise will serve at the very least as an eye-catcher, prompting the viewer to take a closer look at your offer.
Once the attention of the viewer is secured, it is important, that the picture or following photographs offer additional content and transport a relevant message. In many cases this will include pictures of work processes.
It is possible to use stock photos. However, it is more recommendable, to allow your client or customer an insight into your business by using original material. Showing your business and the people you work with, makes you more transparent and trustworthy to your customer.

This is how I work
When you contact me, I will ask you a number of questions about your art, your business or your service. I will then research your area of occupation and we will have a second talk about possible ideas and directions the visual material could take.
Having obtained all the necessary information, I will write a concept for your photo-shooting, which will detail the people involved for each scene, the locations for the scenes and where necessary special requirements for props, clothes, location, dates and time of the day. Once the concept is drafted, we will talk about it and finalise it together.
3) In house preparations
It is important, that everyone on your team is informed well before the date or dates of shooting and has agreed to participate in the shooting.
4) The Photo-Shooting
Depending on the size and nature of your business it is important, that you assign a member of your team to me, who can make all the necessary introductions and organise the in house-schedule for the shooting, making sure that everyone is available as planed.
At times I stage situations for shootings. However, in most cases better results are yielded, if I observe working processes with the camera. This method has two great advantage: even people, who are camera-shy relax at some point and the overall impression of the photos is more natural.
5) The Photos
After the photo shooting I will process the photos and in some cases add some light retouches. Once this task is completed, you will receive the material in two formats – one for your use on the internet and one for printing purposes.
